Jamie Bowers

Director of Communications

Jamie Bowers serves as Director of Communications for Charlotte Lozier Institute, partnering with CLI’s network of more than 60 scholars to amplify their research and inform public debate on pro-life issues.

Prior to joining CLI, Jamie served as Senior Director of Programs and Operations for Leighton Ford Ministries, crafting key messages to secure three major grants as well as managing the launch of mentoring programs for pastors and church leadership teams.

As a communications consultant to major faith-based organizations, Jamie designed the public relations strategy for an international COVID-19 relief project which provided over three million meals for families in need.

While serving as Communications Director for a pro-life Member of Congress, Jamie secured hundreds of media engagements each year in support of key policy issues and was the first to use Facebook Live to broadcast a Congressional town hall meeting.  His experience also includes two stints as a Congressional Chief of Staff and thirteen years as part of the anchor team for one of the most-watched local morning newscasts in the U.S.  He began his career as a Christian radio announcer while attending Columbia International University, graduating with degrees in Communications and Bible. Jamie and his wife are proud parents of five children.
