State Community Health Centers Planned Parenthoods

Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) receive funds from the Health Services & Resources Administration to provide primary care services to vulnerable and underserved populations on a sliding scale. Rural Health Clinics (RHCs) receive funding from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to make care available in rural areas with healthcare shortages. Planned Parenthood, meanwhile, focuses on abortion: The organization received more than $790 million in taxpayer funding and reported its highest-ever number of U.S. abortions, 402,230, in 2022-2023. Additionally, 96.9% of the pregnancy resolution services reported in 2022-23 were abortions, rather than prenatal care, miscarriage care, or help with an adoption plan.

Community health centers like FQHCs and RHCs are not dependent on abortion for revenue, and instead offer women real choices and holistic care.
