
Sandy Christiansen, M.D., FACOG
Associate ScholarDr. Christiansen is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist and advocate for the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death. She is the Associate Medical Director at the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA) and an adjunct professor at Mount St. Mary’s University. Dr. Christiansen has over 34 years of experience as a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist, clinician, educator, speaker, and writer. Her writing and speaking have focused on pregnancy, abortion, and Hippocratic medicine, addressing a variety of forums including the United Nations, the President’s Council on Bioethics, and legislative bodies and providing commentary to national media outlets. Her medical degree is from the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Dr. Christiansen was chosen as the 2025 Educator of the Year Award recipient from the Christian Medical & Dental Association.
