Another medication abortion false promise

With scrutiny mounting over the risks of the abortion drug mifepristone, the abortion industry is increasingly pivoting to an alternative: misoprostol-only abortion. This shift is being framed as a safe and effective option. But as an OBGYN, I am compelled to clarify what the evidence actually shows.

Misoprostol-only abortion is not a medical advancement. It is an inferior, failure-prone protocol promoted for its supposed convenience rather than its safety and effectiveness.
