On January 14, 2026, the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee held a hearing on “Protecting Women: Exposing the Dangers of Chemical Abortion Drugs.”

Dr. Monique Chireau Wubbenhorst, a board‑certified obstetrician‑gynecologist with more than three decades of experience, testified at the hearing. She described the physical and mental risks associated with abortion drugs, referencing research from CLI.
