In March 2018, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) published a report examining federal government program funding of Federally Qualified Health Centers and three abortion advocacy groups, including International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) and Marie Stopes International (MSI) from 2013 to 2015.[1] IPPF received a total of $14 million in federal program funding over these three years, and MSI received a total of $107 million.

International Planned Parenthood Federation, which operates in 152 countries, reported performing 4.8 million abortion-related activities in 2016 alone, including 1,094,679 abortions worldwide (612,966 surgical abortions and 481,713 chemical abortions), an increase from 964,325 total abortions the previous year.[2]

Marie Stopes International (MSI), which operates in 37 countries, reported performing approximately 3.7 million total abortions and post-abortion services.[3]
