Abortion Reporting: Washington (2021)

The State of Washington has not released its 2021 resident abortion total on its Pregnancy and Abortion Dashboard. However, Washington provided some abortion data to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) which included it in its 2021 abortion surveillance report.

Abortion Reporting: New Mexico (2021)

New Mexico has not released a vital statistics report since September 2021, when a report covering 2019 data was published. However, New Mexico shared some abortion data with the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for inclusion in its 2021 abortion surveillance report. The data analyzed here is from the CDC’s 2021 report.

Abortion Reporting: Hawaii (2021)

Hawaii abortion reporting is delayed, but 2021 abortion statistics are available in the latest national report from the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Abortion Reporting: Tennessee (2021)

Tennessee’s 2021 abortion statistics have not yet been released on the website of the Tennessee Department of Health, but the state provided abortion totals and some demographic information to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for inclusion in the CDC’s 2021 abortion surveillance report. The data analyzed within this report is from the CDC’s 2021 report.

Abortion Reporting: Rhode Island (2021)

Rhode Island’s 2021 abortion statistics have not yet been published by the state but are available in the 2021 abortion surveillance report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Abortion Reporting: Virginia (2021)

Virginia’s 2021 abortion facility statistics were provided to the Charlotte Lozier Institute (CLI) upon request. However, Virginia’s full 2021 state abortion report has not been published online.

Abortion Reporting: Alaska (2022)

Alaska released its 2022 abortion statistics online in February 2023. The report shows that abortions increased from 2021.
