Filed: CLI Amicus Brief in Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic

Recently, Spero Law filed an amicus brief in support of South Carolina in the case Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic on behalf of the Charlotte Lozier Institute and two other organizations. The brief argues that Planned Parenthood should not have to be funded by state Medicaid programs because it is not an essential provider of women's healthcare services, their primary focus is abortion, women have many other more legitimate healthcare alternatives, and any Medicaid funds that may go to Planned Parenthood are fungible and will indirectly fund abortion.

In these cases, strong negative emotions are far more common than relief.
