New analysis from the Charlotte Lozier Institute estimates there are 15 community health centers offering women’s health care for every Planned Parenthood facility in the United States. That’s over 8,800 community women’s health providers compared to just 579 in-person and virtual Planned Parenthood locations.

Gaslighting Women: It’s Time To Look Past Planned Parenthood’s Slick Marketing

Poorly equipped, unsanitary, and understaffed facilities. A sewage leak caused patients to vomit. Positive sexually transmitted infection results went unreported.  The New York Times gave a shocking glimpse behind the curtain of Planned Parenthood. Although the legacy media usually defends and promotes the largest U.S. provider of abortion (nearly 39% of all abortions in our country), some things are too egregious to ignore.

An Analysis of Colorado’s SB 25-183

This week, the Colorado State Senate will begin legislative debate on SB 25-183. This bill will require Colorado’s Medicaid and Child Health Plan Plus programs to cover elective abortions. A very broad body of research from economics, political science, and public health journals shows that when states cover elective abortions through Medicaid, state abortion rates increase. Overall, this policy analysis estimates that the passage of SB 25-183 will result in 1,840 more abortions being performed on Colorado women in-state annually.

Filed: CLI Amicus Brief in Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic

Recently, Spero Law filed an amicus brief in support of South Carolina in the case Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic on behalf of the Charlotte Lozier Institute and two other organizations. The brief argues that Planned Parenthood should not have to be funded by state Medicaid programs because it is not an essential provider of women's healthcare services, their primary focus is abortion, women have many other more legitimate healthcare alternatives, and any Medicaid funds that may go to Planned Parenthood are fungible and will indirectly fund abortion.

Filed: CLI Amicus Brief in National Institute of Family and Life Advocates v. James

Attorney General of New York, Letitia James, has recently targeted pregnancy centers in the state for offering information about the abortion pill reversal (APR) protocol. As part of ongoing litigation, the American Center for Law & Justice filed an amicus brief on behalf of CLI and the Pennsylvania Pregnancy Wellness Collaborative arguing that the APR information provided by PRCs to women is substantially true and backed by credible evidence.
