Pro-lifers are set to rally in the nation’s capital Friday for the 50th annual March for Life, which will mark the first time the event took place since the overturn of Roe v. Wade. The first March for Life took place in Washington, D.C., in 1973 after the Supreme Court handed down Roe to protect abortion access nationwide up until fetal viability. Continued Attempts to Regulate Pro-life Pregnancy Help Centers Amount to “Lipstick on a Pig”

Illinois HB4221 amounts to nothing more than “lipstick on a pig” in that it is merely another attempt, in a long line of similar attacks, to legislate pro-life pregnancy help centers out of existence.  In doing so, the proposed bill ignores the needs of women, the near-unanimous gratitude they express for the services they receive at centers, and numerous court rulings that have affirmed the centers’ freedom of operation and awarded them judgments against jurisdictions seeking to harass them.

NEBRASKA FACT CHECK: Heart Rate at Six Weeks is 110 Beats Per Minute

VIRGINIA FACT CHECK: Science Demonstrates Unborn Babies Feel Pain by 15 Weeks

Virginia’s Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, introduced today by Delegate Kathy Byron and Senator Stephen Newman, would limit elective abortion at 15 weeks, when both pro-choice and pro-life scientists acknowledge that babies are capable of feeling pain.
